Rice Terraces, Banaue, Ifugao, Philippines

Here's a card of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and my first card from the Philippines! Thought to have been there for 2000 years, these rice terraces in the Philippines are indeed an impressive sight to behold. They are located 1500m above sea level, and the waters in the terraces are provided for by the rain forests atop the mountains.

The stamps used on this card are pretty nice too. All were issued in 2012. The stamp showing the Twin-Spot Wrasse was issued on 18th October 2012 along with 3 others on the theme of Marine Biodiversity in the Philippines. The other is a Christmas stamp issued on 20th November 2012 along with another.

Thank you so much for the wonderful card and stamps Roberts!
