Cape Point, Cape Peninsula, South Africa

Possibly the most beautiful postcard I have received to date: a few of Cape Point in South Africa! Cape point is a promontory at the Southwestern tip of the African continent, though it is not the Southern most point of the African continent. There is an old lighthouse located at the top of Cape Point that still serves to guide ships today. I really like the scene on this postcard!

This stamp was used on the card. It was issued on 12th July 2012 along with 4 other stamps. The issue was called Baby Big Five, which showcases 5 unique animals from South Africa. I hope to be able to collect the series!
