Chernivsti University, Ukraine

This postcard looks like a page out of a fairy tale, doesn't it? Officially known as the Residence of Bukovinian and Dalmatian Metropolitans (wow thats a pretty long name), the building currently houses the Chernivsti University which was founded in 1875.

I've grown to love Ukrainian stamps over the years. They just look so beautiful! The most outstanding stamp here is the one on the top right. It was issued on 4th October 2012 along with 3 others on the theme of Gardens in Ukraine. The stamp at the bottom right corner was issued on 14th January 2012 on the theme of Flora together with 3 others. The other 2 different stamps are from a set of 4 issued on the 3rd February 2012 on the theme of Flora. I wonder why the stamp issuing authority doesn't issue the two sets as a single set...
